When I bought my first house in 2013, I discovered that selling real estate is an artform. At that time, I had been working for several years as a legal assistant with the Office of the Public Prosecutor, and I was ready for a new challenge. One and one made two. Not long after that, I began my education to become a real estate agent and property appraiser, and I started working at B&F. Work has now become my passion. As a real estate agent, I guide people through the process of buying or selling a house, and as an appraiser I am responsible for drawing up NWWI-certified reports. On January 1, 2021, it was time for the next big step: the takeover of B&F Makelaar. I can now proudly call myself the owner of the best real estate agency in The Hague!

I love having personal contact with customers and thoroughly enjoy making them passionate about a new home. As a team, we are always ready for our customers and will make sure that the process of either buying, selling or renting (out) a house is arranged perfectly down to the last detail. You are more than welcome to stop by our office on the corner of the Prins Hendrikstraat and the Tasmanstraat, for a cup of coffee and a healthy dose of sound advice.

After studying Communication at the Leiden University of Applied Sciences, I started working as a project manager in the event industry. After a few years, I quit my job and went back to school to become a certified real estate agent and property appraiser, something I had always wanted to do. In 2012, I started my own real estate agency and that turned out to be a decision for which I am thankful every day still. After many years of building with a tight-knit team and offering our customers the best possible service, the next logical step for me was to pass on the company to Nard. As of January 1, 2021, he is in charge of our wonderful office. Our agency has a broad network of fellow real estate agents at its disposal with whom we maintain excellent collegial ties. We provide more than 100% service to our customers and it is our mission to make sure that everyone can look back at this exciting process with a positive feeling.

For us, this may be a job, but for our customers it is their life’s journey. That’s why our motto is ‘Your home, our job’ and we carry that with us every day. In 2014, my husband and I bought our dream home in Scheveningen and completely renovated it. We are now living there, together with our two beautiful children. So I can also draw upon my personal experience to provide our customers with sound advice. I know what I find important myself and what it is like to renovate a house. On top of that, I am absolutely in love with The Hague and know the city like the back of my hand. Please feel free to come by our office, even if it is only for a cup of coffee!

My childhood completely revolved around sports and fitness. That led to me taking up an education in this field and working various jobs in the sports world later on. When the moment came for me to buy and sell a house, I got my first behind-the-scenes look of the housing market. That gave me a lot of inspiration and I realized that I particularly liked that people around me started asking me for advice. I decided I wanted to explore that further, and I was fortunate to be offered a position soon after as an administrative assistant with a large mortgage consultancy firm. At the start of 2021, the time came for the next step in my career: I joined the team at B&F Makelaar as office manager.

I enjoy helping people find their ideal home. That dream house where they will enjoy living for years to come. This is of course a very exciting process, and we are always happy to help you in whatever way we can. So don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you may have.
